If you want to be happy, make others happy,” said Dada Vaswani.
Just when the world needs a mentor, then comes a rav to guide the world and change lives of millions. Not just a true humanitarian, deep philosopher, inspiring educator, prolific writer, powerful orator, messiah of ahimsa, and non-sectarian spiritual leader, Dada J.P. Vaswani was much more than that: a messenger of love and peace.
The world knew renounced Dada J.P. Vaswani, the ex-spiritual head of the Sadhu Vaswani Mission, an international, non-profit, social welfare and service organisation. Just being in his presence allowed one to experience the peace, joy, and love that he continuously emanated.
On Sadhu T.L Vaswani’s birth anniversary on November 25, 2018, Maneesh Media brings the enlightening journey of Dada J.P. Vaswani’s sweat and blood in form of a coffee-table book.
The book is an expedition of 100 eminent years right from the day Dada was born on August 2, 1918 till the date he left the worldly world on July 12, 2018. More than a book, this is a tribute to the spiritual leader, who relied on a mix of science, religion, and spirituality.
The book starts with the introduction of birth, childhood days, and proud parents. It also covers Dada Vaswani’s brilliance during school days, how he twice managed promotions to be able to finish his primary education in just three years instead of the usual five, which also enabled him to graduate at the young age of 17.
He was awarded a fellowship at the DJ Sindh College for standing first in his university class, studied Physics for M.Sc. and impressed Nobel Laureate, Dr. C.V. Raman by his thesis on The Scattering of X-rays by Solids.
A world of exceptional opportunities lay open to geniuses. Same did for this noble soul too, but his heart and soul were irresistibly drawn towards his uncle and Guru, Sadhu T.L. Vaswani. When he was 21, firmly resolving to renounce all worldly pleasures, he gave up his career in academics to follow in the footsteps of his illustrious master.
Always excelling in what he did, he was quintessentially the ideal! When he started editing monthly journals to propagate Sadhu Vaswani’s ideas, they became highly successful, after which he was given a task to serve as the Principal of St. Mira’s College for Girls, where this enlightened educator was loved by the teachers and students. He was a prolific writer, internationally acclaimed thinker, and brilliant orator. He has inspired millions with writing more than 150 books on practical tips on happy, successful, spiritual, and non-violent living; and speaking for many prestigious platforms.
In 1966, Dada was passed on the baton when Sadhu Vaswani embraced the almighty. Maintaining the supreme positivity that Dada emited, since then Dada had visited places, conquering hearts with his utter modesty. The world observes two minutes silence on his birthday every year and choose to forgive one and all, under an initiative The Moment of Calm. Spiritual gurus like Dalai Lama have spread a word about it.
This legend has inspired millions: His participation in many world conferences on religion, compassion, and humanity has spiritually enriched the world. A well-chosen, parable, anecdote, or tale can communicate profound truths which are otherwise difficult to get across. The book, The Book of the Heart, communicates well with the world, bridging the gap, connecting Dada Vaswani and his innumerous followers across the world.
